Mothers help

If you need an extra set of hands to help run the household, a mother’s help may be just what you need. A mother’s help does not always take on the typical duties of a traditional nanny, but instead does more. She can help you with pretty much anything, including shopping, running errands, or taking the dog for a walk. The sole purpose of her job is to lighten your workload by serving as a personal assistant.

We work with our clients both in the UK and abroad. If you would like to enquire about what our international services, refer to our International Nannies page for more information, or get in touch with us simply through the button below.

A mother’s help’s duties

A mother’s help is usually a newly-qualified nanny, but we employ mother’s helps with at least 2 years of paid experience in the childcare field. Because we have exceptionally high standards in choosing mother’s helps, all of our candidates are experienced, responsible, and trustworthy individuals with the highest degree of maturity, professionalism, and commitment. They also have clean enhanced CRB check results. It’s our utmost priority to provide the best mother’s help you and your family could ever hope for.

Since a mother’s help’s job is to assist you, she will be with you most of the time. Because you can ask her to do things anytime you want, your mother’s help probably won’t have an extensive set of duties to take care of on a daily basis. Instead, she will attend to your immediate needs. Her duties are not strictly limited to childcare. She may be asked to do many different kinds of tasks, including the following:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Running errands
  • Shopping
  • Preparing meals
  • Doing laundry
  • Picking up dry cleaning
  • Reading bedtime stories to your children
  • Keeping your children busy
  • Light PA duties

How a mother’s help can help you

The only time you need to hire a mother’s help is when you have too many duties to take care of around the house. A mother’s help will take some of those duties off your hands so you can focus on the more important ones. This is ideal if you’re a stay-at-home mother or a mother with a part-time job.

You can choose between a live-in or a live-out mother’s help, and you can even have her join you on family holidays.
